Steam Engine on the Durham and South Carolina RR Line--Circa 1905

This engine saw service on the 42 mile line from Duncan to East Durham. Near Durham the original (1905-25) corridor followed what is now the Riddle Road spur of the American Tobacco Trail (ATT). Around 1925 changes to the corridor brought it to the American Tobacco warehouse area, now the northern end of the ATT.
